Toddy May is a designer and creative lead with 15+ years in apparel design and development.
Formally trained and factory-grounded, she brings creative direction together with the foresight needed to deliver production-ready work.
Beginning her career in an Australian-made clothing factory, Toddy built end-to-end knowledge in textile design, pattern making, sewing, fittings, and tech packs. That grounding shaped a practical, solutions-driven approach: ideas that look refined and work at the machine.
She has partnered with labels locally and internationally, launched her own brand, and travelled to Indonesia and China to source fabrics and develop product. In 2020 she moved into full-time freelancing, growing a client base of emerging and established labels, work that evolved into Maison Modelle, a studio built on integrity, originality, and a collaborative spirit.
